Just before he died, Kris's "uncle" really did manage to alter his entire DNA profile to link it to Kris's.
Since the experiment was obviously successful, here Kris stands as the sole undisputed legal heir to everything he owned.
It appears that Lord Hanover has proved to the world, in dramatic fashion, that it is possible to change genetic fingerprints--in this case, his, and as a result, become "related" to anybody in it.
Arthur Hanover may have stolen Kris's identity, but he paid him a fortune for it.
As a result, Hanover may be up for an unprecedented posthumous prize in the physiology/medicine category if additional confirmation of his research in genetic code transference can be garnered in time.
At present, Nobel foundation by-laws strictly prohibit the awarding of any prizes to nonliving persons. Sources throughout the scientific community, however,
said that the extraordinary nature of Hanover's research may cause an exception to be granted.
