Growing up, he always wanted to be the "first kid on his block" to own this or that. As an adult, Kris is adventuresome almost to an extreme. He's willing to go practically anywhere and try almost anything. That's good because now Kris is shocked to learn he has been named the sole and undisputed heir to an immense fortune, a manor estate, and hereditary title by a British uncle he never knew existed and has recently died. But actually, Kris is the Managing Director of imagine21, commonly called, i21. Kris authored the Manor House scenario, took memory altering drugs to temporarily forget that he did, and then starred in the trial run of the production as its central character, the "You" protagonist. Now that the reherarsal has finished, Kris is having difficulty recovering his authentic memories, his true self.
