About

Chris Mathison is an American citizen who resided, relaxed or did business in 40+ countries from 1974 to 1999. He's fond of saying, "When I left they were impeaching Nixon. Got back, they were impeching Clinton." As such, he missed the 80s and 90s in America.

Early in life, Chris worked as a college instructor, concert producer, discotheque designer, circus advanceman and travel writer. His most memorable gig was a tbrief stint as a feature writer for Blue Swan (the in-flight magazine of Aeroflot Airlines) at the height of the Cold War while "consulting" for the U.S. State Department..

Since returning to the States,Chris has authored major web applications for city, county and state government agencies. He cites his appearence as a co-keynoter representing Apple at New Zealand's innaugural multimedia conference in 1994 as a professional highlight. Following Microsoft's Bill Gates, he greeted the audience with, "Everybody here knows my predecessor. But nobody knows me. Yet our stories are really the same. Just delete six zeros."

Chris currently resides in Pearland, Texas, USA with his wife Megumi, and three dogs, Geronimo, Freddie and Milky Way. Their daughter, Robin Rae, recently graduated from UC Santa Cruz and now works as a software engineer. Below, say hello to his virtual pooch, who he created as a mascot for his beloved Ai! Chihuahua! soccer team.
